SOME - ALGUM, ALGUMA, ALGUNS - ALGUMAS
SOME - Usado em frases AFIRMATIVAS.
Ex. There are SOME girls here.
There are SOME studentes in the classroom.
SOME: pode ser usado em frases INTERROGATIVAS quando sabemos que a resposta será positiva.
(GERALMENTE QUANDO OFERECEMO ALGO A ALGUÉM)
Ex. Would you like SOME coffee ? Yes, I would.
2 - ANY - ALGUM, ALGUMA, ALGUNS, ALGUMAS, QUALQUER
ANY: Usado em frases NEGATIVAS e INTERROGATIVAS.
Ex. Are there ANY girls in your classroom ?
There aren´t any girls in your classrrom.
Obs. ANY pode ser usado em frases AFIRMATIVAS quando:
1 - Aparece após a palavra IF - Ex. IF you have ANY questions, ask me
2 - Significa QUALQUER. Ex. Take ANY book you need.
3 - Houver palavra de sentido negativo na frase, como: SELDOM, NEVER, WITHOUT,
Ex. John left without ANY money.
3 - NO - NENHUM, NENHUMA
NO: É usado em frases POSITIVA com sentido NEGATIVO
Ex. There are NO girls in my classroom
* - NONE- NENHUM, NENHUMA
NONE - Tem o mesmo significado de NO, porém é usado para substituir um substantivo citado anteriormente e evitando sua repetição.
Ex. I have SOME books and you have NONE.
( Peceba que NONE foi usado para substituir a palavra BOOKS.)
