PAST PERFECT TENSE . O Passado Perfeito é formado pelo verbo To have no passado, (HAD), mais o Particípio Passado (past participle) do verbo principal.

A Forma Afirmativa do Past Perfect segue o seguinte esquema
Sujeito +HAD + Past Participle do VERBO PRINCIPAL
O verbo auxiliar HAD é usado para todas as pessoas.
A Forma Contraída de HAD = ´D
Sentençsas com o verbo principal Regular. ( Terminado em ED )
Exs: They had worked in that office since 1937. ( VERBO REGULAR, FINAL ED)
Lucas had studied Math for hours. ( VERBO REGULAR, FINAL ED)
I had cleaned my bedroom when they arrived.
OBS.: O verbo HAD está presente em todas as frases acima, sempre como verbo auxliar.
O verbo após HAD é sempre principal e está no particípio passado.
